The Snowbelt makes a different kind of people.
The Snowbelt is the region downwind of the Great Lakes where lake-effect snow falls heaviest. There is another level of grit and tenacity here that makes us hardy and resilient, especially in Western New York.
Winter has always been where we thrive and feel most alive. It is why we chose the name: it is who we are and what fuels us.

It is about tuning in to the moments, places and states of mind where you feel most yourself: a fresh line on the mountain, a still river at sunrise, a good book at the end of the day.
For us that element is water. It becomes snow, the foundation of our winters, our name and our inspiration. Everything we make is meant to help you find that feeling.
How we got here
2022: A hemp license
We got our hemp license in July and started building out our space in Jamestown.
→022023: First harvest
Our first hemp harvest came in and passed all its testing.
→032024: A processing license
More than three years in the making: the first adult-use processors in Chautauqua County.

As avid snowboarders we see what a changing climate is doing to winter. So we care about the planet and about the community around us.
We package in home-compostable containers to cut single-use plastic, work with small New York farms, and keep the jobs and the giving close to home.
